1-to-1 Private Session
£60 /per dog
Regardless of their age, a one-to-one training session is a fantastic opportunity to teach your dog new behaviours, in a controlled environment.
Covering the main areas of West Cornwall, such as Truro and Falmouth; All of our 1-hour private sessions are tailored to the needs of each owner and their dog. From the basics of puppy training to the tribulations of the “teenage” stages and everything in between, we will share a range of unique techniques that can help reinforce the desired behaviours we all look for in our dogs, along with maintaining a focus on harmonising the relationship between dog and handler throughout this process.
Once you have signed up to our 1-to-1 sessions, we will spend our first visit getting to know you and your dog. We will carry out an assessment of your dogs home environment, routine, and behaviours; whilst also introducing some valuable reinforcement techniques to get you started. From here we will come away and put together a personalised training plan to fill the sessions you have purchased and ensure we can hit the ground running!
For the basics in puppy training, when your dog between the ages of 12-16 weeks, we recommend these session are held in the safety of their own home/garden to ensure the dog is relaxed and focused on the task at hand. After 16 weeks, we actively encourage owners to joining us in session out in a public spaces – for example your local park or visiting our centre in St Mawes. This will allow us to introduce new distractions and bring your training process up to the next level.
Throughout your time with Kentwone dogs, all owners will receive on going support via phone or email, to ensure no questions are left unanswered.
