Our story
My name is Hannah, founder at Kentwone Dogs. Through training my first dog, Red Fox Labrador called Oakley (Kentwone Lucky Gold), and watching him excel in his training, I quickly developed a genuine passion for canine psychology and began to take time to understand the most effective forms of communication between dog and handler; and this is where the Kentwone Journey began.
Over the years, have achieved a Higher Distinction in Level 3 canine training, Higher Distinction in Level 3 Canine behaviour, along with a Distinction in MCMA Canine First Aid. Furthermore, I continue to spend time researching and studying the wide range of training techniques to further my knowledge and to continue to provide “life changing” results for both client owners and their dogs.
Kentwone Dogs is proud to cover Falmouth and Truro, along with their surrounding areas, for any private 1-to-1 training.

After agreeing to take her on, Hannah carefully integrated our dog into the daycare groups with no issues at all. Our dog found her freedom to roam in the secure field and settled well with all the other dogs. Absolutely brilliant. I first met Hannah when I rescued a year old labrador, Poppy, with problems. We went to training with Hannah which was great, and now Poppy goes to Doggy Day Care once a week. First met Hannah on the beach, Hannah had several dogs off lead under total control and had to chat to her and find out her secret.
Had several training sessions with her now at center and home, having a lively 2 year old Golden retriever … More boy that has selective hearing and pulled like a trooper.

We cannot recommend Hannah at Kentwone Dogs highly enough! We were referred to her by our vet in Truro, and from the moment we started working with her, it was clear we were in excellent hands. We have a 9-month-old, 38kg Rhodesian Ridgeback … More named Kali, a breed known for their stubbornness, and we've faced a number of training challenges, especially with lead pulling.
We opted for the introductory package of four 1-1 sessions, and the progress we've seen over the last couple of months has been nothing short of amazing. Hannah is so patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. Her approach is tailored to Kali's specific needs, and we've learned so many invaluable tips and techniques.
Lead walking used to be a real struggle—my husband was always the one who took Kali out because I could never manage her strength. Thanks to Hannah's expert advice, I can now walk her confidently without the constant pulling! It's become a bit of a competition between me and my husband as to who gets to walk her now, given how much better she is on the lead!
In addition to lead walking, we've also seen great improvements in Kali's recall, and the bond between us and our puppy is growing stronger every day. Hannah's guidance has been instrumental in building a positive and trusting relationship with Kali.
The sessions were held in familiar locations where we regularly walk Kali, which helped her feel more comfortable and relaxed during training. We are also looking forward to continuing our training journey with the weekly social neutrality classes over the next 6 weeks!
Hannah offers a range of services, and her website is really helpful with all the information and pricing. We’re so glad we found Kentwone Dogs and will continue to work with Hannah as we go forward. I took my Sprocker Spaniel, Enzo, to see Hannah as he needed help with the basics. We focused alot of lead walking, whistle work and greeting people in our home. He took to her so well, especially as he usually is quite nervous of new people … More and dogs. He loves seeing her and you can tell he is very engaged in the sessions. Hannah is so helpful and just so easy to talk too. I can message her anytime with questions etc and she is amazing to respond and give advice. It's a great facility. Our 2 labs are part of the Wednesday Afternoon gang, a well looked after 2 hour session which ends up with between 6 to 8 dogs running around having a great time.
